DIY Mistletoes with the Grandnugget

 I don't know about anybody else, but for me the best part of having kids and grands is the making stuffs with them for the holidays! Today we made adorable little mistletoe canvases with his little feet! For the record I never noticed how much I hate the spelling of mistletoe until today.....

Bird Salad

I am trying so hard to get healthier and feel better during this year that I will hit the big 40... This story starts a few days before today when I had a great idea to order my salad online at Sam's Club.  The magic land of bulk items and large quantities! Let me preface this by saying that I absolutely suck at gauging size and amounts when I order things. You have no idea at the times my family has had a great laugh at me when packages arrive in the mail and I can not believe how small or giant something is.  So when I go to order my salad I think, probably should get one for each day of the week, right? Wrong!  When I picked that order up and the lady loaded 5....FIVE...1 POUND containers of SALAD into my truck I had no idea what I was gonna do with all of that greenery!!! I mean I NEVER, NEVER eat vegetables or anything even remotely healthy...EVER. So I started handing out salad containers to family and kept one for myself.
